Rock Star Words

Home Reading Program

Each student will be given a duotang for the home reading program. The duotang will start with one list of words. Please take some time to practice these words with your child at home. When they are able to quickly identify all of the words please send the duotang back to school. I will have your child read the words to me. If they are successful I will give them a new list of words and send the duotang home. If they still need some practice I will send the duotang home without the new list of words. This program allows children to progress at their own rate throughout the school year. Please do not rush your child to learn these new words. Each list should take your child 1 to 2 weeks to learn.
